Tea & Living Heritage

Tea sits at the center of much of ACHEA's cultural work. Through tea gatherings, calligraphy and seasonal traditions, ACHEA invites people across the San Francisco Bay Area to practice living heritage together, from recurring community tea circles at a San José library branch to tea programs at public festivals.

Tea Gatherings Since 2023

Since 2023, the Tea & Eastern Aesthetics initiative has held monthly gatherings in libraries, campuses and public spaces, pairing tea with contemporary Asian art. In April 2025, a Computer Skills Fundraiser Tea Party raised funds for low-income students' tech education while sharing tea philosophy.
